    I care a lot less about the rich people evacuating their Pacific Palisades and Malibu mansions and a lot more about all the poor people with various breathing issues who are going to suffer more and more from these wildfires. My asthma was bad enough when there were the occasional fires in the Valley when I lived there in the 2000s and 2010s. I wouldn’t even want to know what it would be like now.

    And to think, they had gotten rid of so much of the smog.

      During the drought it was awful you could barely go outside for weeks on end. Last few years had been better until now but we’ll see. Extremely weird to have fires in January like this.

    Well, it can’t burn too far west, as that place just burned in the Franklin Fire a month ago.
