What do you think? Do you see any bottlenecks or budget balancing issues? I need it for CAD/CAM, 3D modelling, gaming (Cyberpunk, Witcher3 with raytracing, BG3)

The site says the cooler is not compatible, but according to noctua it is, if I mount the radiator underneath the cooling block.

Is the mainboard ok? I don’t see the benefits of the more expensive ones. All they have is PCI 5.0, which the GPU doesn’t utilise, and the riser card for the Terra is also only PCI 4.0

I did a similar build earlier this year. I used the Noctua L12 Ghost S1 edition cooler with a 120mm slim fan mounted under it with the Kingston Fury Beast memory And the Sapphire Pulse RX 7700XT (53mm). You can see my image shows how much clearance you’ll have with various cooler and GPU heights. It is a very tight fit but do-able. I had to shave the Noctua slim fan for the CPU cooler at a few sections to have it fit over the memory and MoBo still. All I’m saying here is be sure to check all your dimensions to be absolutely sure everything will fit or it won’t and you’ll be frustrated.

I also did a PBO tune on the CPU (7600X) to get it running significantly cooler than stock.

I can PM you with lots of data and more pictures if you’re curious.

Edit: I suggest a ModDIY 12VHPWR cable as they are highly flexible and prevent the seating issues and thus fire.

Thanks for the info. I’d love to see more if your build! Maybe you can even make a public post instead of a PM?

I don’t really worry about fitting it all in there… If the cooler takes too much space, I have zero inhibitions to cut a hole into the side panel. Hell, I have a CNC that can cut aluminium and a 3D printer, so I can probably machine a custom side panel if need be.

Important info, as I also enjoy not having my house burn down. ; )
