EA has several Disney IP games in the works, I think they make the most sense (from a shitty corporate POV).

Edit: I just remembered they own ESPN too so that plus madden seems like a lot of sense too.

Bethesda (now microsoft) owns Tango Gameworks. SNK is owned by the Misk Foundation, A foundation created by a Saudi Arabian Prince.

Its a huge myth that people think the japanese conpanies cannot be bought out by non japanese companies. Theyre just significantly less willing to unless it meant bankruptcy.

Disney Interactive Studios, Inc. was an American video game developer and publisher owned by The Walt Disney Company through Disney Interactive. Prior to its closure in 2016, it developed and distributed multi-platform video games and interactive entertainment worldwide.

I feel a certain lack of long-term direction here. They just got out of the video game publishing industry seven years ago.

Hey, remember that StarWars game that Reddit convinced people to shout loudly is getting children to gambling, thus scaring Disney into immediate action?

I’ve always wondered about Dis’s relationship to gaming. They’ve dipped their feet in the water many times but always seem to run away screaming from the experience.

Yeah, I think people really overestimate Disney. They are just above Sony market cap which about 1/10th of Microsoft’s
