Headline reminds me of the Uvalde cops trying to stop the mom from going in to rescue her kids while they sat scared,
“Ma’am, ma’am! Leave them alone so I can not go in to rescue them, ma’am!!!”
Uvalde was certainly a clusterfuck, but the “cops scared” narrative isn’t quite the truth, much more to it.
