In all honesty, it’s the other way around: weak(cheap) people deserve no friends either. You need to earn things and work towards a relationship. And would you consider officers in the military “commoners”? Senior NCOs casually talking about the “woke” and how they should be rounded up? If someone in your life casually said “you know, I’m not a racist, but we need to round up all these X and”, is that of any concern to you? Are you putting yourself in the category of “commoner”?
