There are a lot of team-building apps in the market right now. I’ve tried five of them recently for our company’s team-building event. Here is my short review of what I found on each of them:

  1. PlayTours Rating: (5/5) PlayTours is a fantastic scavenger hunt app for team-building activities. This team-building app stands out with its extensive customization, and robust scalability, making it suitable for both small teams and large corporate events. Plus, it’s pretty affordable with lots of great features. After trying their unlimited free trial, I decided to go with PlayTours for our event.

  2. Goosechase Rating: (4/5) Goosechase is also a popular scavenger hunt app known for its pre-made challenges. It’s perfect for busy teams because it makes setting up team-building activities quick and easy. While it doesn’t have a ton of customization options, the pre-made challenges are super convenient for team leaders.

  3. Scavify Rating: (4/5) Scavify is great for setting up and managing scavenger hunts with ease. It’s got an intuitive interface that both organizers and players will appreciate. Even tho I’ve faced a minor issue with the GPS functionality, Scavify is a fun and interactive app that brings teams together.

  4. Let’s Roam Rating: (3/5) Let’s Roam offers a variety of guided team-building activities, from city tours to themed adventures. It’s great for corporate outings and training sessions, providing experiences that are both fun and educational. The app also includes in-house games to ensure quality team bonding time. However, I was looking for a more personalized experience, so it wasn’t my favorite choice.

  5. Actionbound Rating: (3/5) Actionbound is a simple and educational team-building app. It’s perfect for teams that want to combine fun with learning. However, there’s a bit of a learning curve for first-time users, and you’ll need a subscription for full access to all the features.

The five apps listed are among the best scavenger hunt apps, and they also serve as excellent team-building tools. If you know of any other great team-building apps that I should consider, please let me know. I’m also planning to try out some additional apps to explore more options.
