I meant to suggest the “cis comrad” specifically may projecting their gender experience onto other aces just like they are projecting their autism onto apparently everyone. And because they seem to avoid gender theory, they may have no clue they are doing that.

I could still see myself sorta reacting in a parallel way and not being interested in gender theory like a decade ago and at least internally blaming it on something that would only seem tangentially related (presumed autism in my case instead of ace because I had no clue I was ace at that time, but I likely would have also included lack of interest in dating or sex as another reason why gender seemed so pointless for me specifically)
