Last I checked it’s working as intended for Trump
Trump has captured half of the US legislature and has a huge group of people who are willing to die for him in battle (and have done so when trying to take over the Capitol, only increasing their fervour).
Of course this is something totalitarians strive for.
Has any previous presidency of the Council of the European Union had an official slogan?
I checked the websites of the recent presidencies, wikipedia has a nice list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presidency_of_the_Council_of_the_European_Union#List_of_rotations
All of them has a detailed program and a custom logo, some of them just highlight the core points from the program, some of them has slogans, all of the slogans are just big meaningless words:
- “Europe, closer” - Spain 2023
- “Together. Resilient. Europe.” - Slovenia 2021
- “Together for Europe’s recovery” - Germany 2020
- “A Europe that Connects” - Croatia 2020
I’m pretty sure that they usually have slogans, which are more or less mottos of what issues they want to focus on.
But I could be wrong.
