The department said it made its finding based on the group’s history of violence rooted in “its openly racist, anti-immigrant, antisemitic, anti-LGBTQI+ platform”. The United States remains deeply concerned about the racially or ethnically motivated violent extremist threat worldwide and is committed to countering the transnational components of violent white supremacy,” a department statement said.

I understand why you’d instinctively mock people you dislike, but perpetuating a culture of body shaming helps no one in the end. There’s no need to convince yourself that everyone evil has to be ugly. There are plenty of great, nice people in the world who also happen to be very unattractive.

I really love the attitude, but use your eyes please.

There’s a picture of a shameful of Neo-Nazis, and only 2 of them have beards.

Okay, so usually I feel like “Nazi” is a bit overused for racist groups – and this is just “neo-Nazi” – but these guys even self-identify as Nazis:

The website is the result of many hours of work spent by devoted activists and sympathizers of what is probably the largest and most successful explicitly National Socialist organization in the world.

I know white supremacists are fucking stupid, but you’d think they’d at least be smart enough to not need clip-on kiddie-sized ties.

Considering the Nazis I’ve met over the years, I’d say most of them are barely bright enough to tie their shoes, let alone a tie.

In general, if you think your skin tone has something to do with your superiority, you’re not all that bright.

I don’t know, I think that makes sense personally. I think a good portion of them are actually struggling with feelings of inadequacy and worthlessness, or at least did at some point. When you’re feeling like that, and you have no skills or intellect, you’ll take any lifeboat out, even if the only thing making you different is your skin color. At that point, the only thing I have, my skin color, makes me better than everyone else.

And I would argue that if those are your circumstances, thinking you’re better than everyone else is not very bright.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

The United States on Friday designated a Scandinavian neo-Nazi group and three of its leaders as terrorists, saying the Nordic Resistance Movement poses a threat to Americans.

NMR, known by its Swedish acronym, is the largest neo-Nazi group in Sweden and has branches in Norway, Denmark, Iceland and Finland, where it has been banned since 2020.

The state department added the movement and the leaders to its Specially Designated Global Terrorist list, meaning that any US-based assets will be frozen and they will be blocked from using the US financial system.

The leaders being blacklisted, all Swedes, were the group’s chief, Fredrik Vejdeland, and two other senior figures, Pär Öberg and Leif Robert Eklund.

Founded in 1997 in Sweden as the Swedish Resistance Movement, the group saw sister organizations spring up in other Nordic countries until they were united under NMR in 2016.

After taking office in 2021, Joe Biden’s administration laid out a strategy to counter domestic terrorism that included identifying foreign groups that provide support.

The original article contains 358 words, the summary contains 167 words. Saved 53%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

Why are the police protecting them? Throw them to the wolves, and let’s see if they stay confident enough to do their marches after getting pummeled.

I guess we can safely say they’re state sponsored.
