With every fighting soldier, like fx infantry, there are between 2-10 in support, depending if you just count logistics / med or include artillery and similar.

So your 1500 would mean around 500 with long term fighting capability.

Yeah… I think you need to move in some more troops if you expect shit to hit the fan.

Do you want to move those troops through Ukraine or from the sea, right next to Ukraine?

Heard anything special regarding Russian troop transport ships near Ukraine lately?

Yeah, but we are talking about 500 of the army that has shown unprecedented incompetence the last two years.

That might be so, but it’s not like Russia is losing anytime soon in Ukraine either. And we’re still talking about Moldova here. They have fuck all for an army or gear. Their military is literally a joke and they do not have the same support as Ukraine because of their neutrality. The few Russian troops there could likely very easily make a rush for it and force a surrender.

            I agree with you.

However, Ukraine is next door and while other countries would hesitate to attack Russian troops, Ukraine have much to gain and nothing to lose doing it.

Even though it looks like a walk in the park rushing Moldova I’m not so sure it’s without risk… High risk.
