Car batteries mostly need replacement cause they can’t give out proper amperage - which comes in many dozens of amperes.

Most applications do not need such a powerful output - and can absolutely accomodate batteries with a lower output. And as we all know, the most eco-friendly battery is the one that doesn’t need to be produced.
