Democratic presidential nomineeĀ Kamala Harris stopped her fans from getting too wild with theirĀ Trump bashing at a campaign rally in Wisconsin on Wednesday.
On the second day of her battleground blitz with running mateĀ Tim Walz, when she got to the point in her now-familiar stump speech about her days prosecuting predators, fraudsters and scammers, supporters, like those inĀ Philadelphia on Tuesday, were just starting to chant ālock him upā when Harris deviated from the script.
āWell, hold on,ā she said, holding out her hand as if to placate the crowd in Eau Claire, Wisc. āYou know what, the courts are going to handle that part of it. What weāre gonna do is beat him in November.ā
Iām never going trust that the dems have a plan.
Yeah Harris may have been waiting for her shot, and sheās getting my vote absolutely, but this wasnāt some dem moonshot to beat Trump. I voted for Biden against Trump. Iād do it again. But thereās many people I would have rather had as our president as a dem voter. I think Kamala will do great, and Iām glad sheās up for the nomination, but this was a moment of a good president realizing heād do better for America by stepping down, not some ingenious dem plan to keep the White House.
