Nom-Nom pinewood is delicious
Really looking forward to this wave; the tracks look amazing! Koopa Cape especially
Oh dear…
First that name. Oh my word. Just no.
Second, pretty much directly encouraging piracy. Just… That’s also a hard no.
Sorry, while the technological concept is interesting for games that don’t have a restrictive license, between a lack of forethought regarding the name and the outright condonment of piracy, I’m gonna have to stay away. If these issues are readdressed in the future, it my be worth re-examining
I dunno. I realize the intent behind downvotes, but on reddit this led to dog piling. And regardless of whether you were “right” or not, if the first 1 or 2 down votes, by pure chance, didn’t like you, your post/comment was basically nuked to the phantom realm.
If it’s that bad, just report it. If its not worth reporting, its not worth the dog piling either
Its a useful concept for explaining life, the universe, and everything.
That and the number 42 :P
oh dear. Thats just evil
Some of the devs describe themselves as “communists” and “anarchists”
Why are people so stuck in the 1950s?
Glad to have woman playing. To paraphrase Iwata (Nintendo), gaming should be fun for everyone
Edit: “women” because I have butter fingers
Good. Only way users and communities can be heard is to actively shutdown until further notice
I tried to float that idea in a few niche communities. I was downvoted to all hell, two of them outright removed the post :P I think the majority of reddit doesn’t care, sadly
The devs of invidious need to be more careful and circumspect in their language and response. I believe they have a good chance of fighting this, and continuing the project regardless, but Don’t. Tickle. The dragon tail!
One, how does this differ from a GNOME or XFCE (or KDE) rice?
Two… JavaScript???
I’m not a coder but uh… Is that a good idea?
I miss what I lack, but reddit was also going stagnant. Time to build something greater. Decentralized, but moderated, social media is an interesting idea.
Lemmys devs’ political… “Leanings” sure concern me though
Agree on a technical level, but in terms of the average netizen being able to visualize the relationship, “providers” makes it much easier
This looks fantastic. Thanks for the link!
