@VerseAndVermin @FartsWithAnAccent I’m among the few who didn’t like S3. I could not care less for “the chosen one” thing, which is just annoying and a tired trope.
@Salamendacious @Evilcoleslaw In Ira Steven Behr’s doc “What we left behind”, he get the original writers brainstorm a new season of DS9 and they promptly kill Nog in the first episode.
@Melco @mosiacmango The amount of mockery and opprobrium this episode has gotten over the years is entirely justified.
@xusontha @ruckblack Well, it’s very in line with LD but unique for SNW. It’s the incongruity that makes it a riot.

@beefcat @sj_zero I agree that the doctor was the “exploring humanity” character until Seven was added. Neelix was the “hospitality” character, Guinan in TNG, and Quark in DS9, but it was poorly written to the point of just being annoying, IMO. If the whole “hounding Tuvok to get him to loosen up” was supposed to be funny, it failed.
@ArtieShaw @xilliah @TingoTenga Of all the “hospitality” people in ST (Guinan, Quark, Neelix), Neelix was by far the worst. He was just annoying. No wonder poor Tuvok couldn’t stand him (and then they got merged :eyeroll: ).
@maino82 @oehm Agreed. The show because of Shohreh Aghdashloo, whose casting was a stroke of genius. And the books because it’s a great story. Silo (on Apple TV) is also great. #ScienceFiction
