I still do burn CDs but it is much less common. Mostly just for retro computers which use CD-ROM. I burn DVDs slightly more often since you can fit larger ISOs on them and they’re more durable (seriously, CDs are so fragile it isn’t even funny, their data layer is completely unprotected, just a thin film on the top).

This is very clearly a person trying to frame criticism of Zionism as antisemitic to attempt to suppress criticism of Israel and their actions. PTB.

Maybe that’s why many PCs these days don’t have them, and also why they don’t have network kill-switches anymore. People just got confused and thought something was broken.

If you want that too you could buy one of these covers. I haven’t seen any videos of it but running dmesg | grep -i "Camera" seems to confirm that it does cut the connections since the devices disappear.

Yeah I haven’t seen as many computers with Network/Wireless killswitches, they used to be much more common in the past, so for network cutoff your best bet would probably be to disable or remove the onboard Wifi and use an external Wifi card in one of the expansion slots. Ideally you could use something like this to still have a USB A port but also have a Wifi dongle inside it as well.

FYI they sell dedicated covers for the Webcam which stick around the camera and can slide to cover it and slide to uncover it. If you don’t have a Killswitch on your Camera they’re a good thing to have

Unless those Macbook cameras have a physical Killswitch that allows them to stay completely off when you don’t want it’s probably still a good idea. I mean the indicator can tell you when it’s recording. It’s not going to prevent it.

Absolutely, unless you’re lucky enough to have a laptop with a Physical killswitch on your Webcam + Mic module, then it’s not needed since flipping the Switch physically kills power to the Camera module’s USB header.

Framework Laptops have this Feature.

Unlike Ryujinx they should try to have redundancies in case of Team members leaving and be willing to boot and ostracize members who attempt to sabotage the project. What would it auto report exactly? From what I can tell you can’t really report votes themselves, only posts and comments. You also can’t edit or resend reports on posts and comments once they’re done.

I don’t know why people think like this. Clearly we can tell if he deserved it, we can pull up all his votes. And even if we couldn’t, snapping at us doesn’t make his credibility go up. It makes him seem more guilty.
