Hmmm…🤔, “outside the box” thinking. Not comparing him to Trump in any way, but wasn’t that how Trump won over the working class by false progressive promises of fixing the economy (which he will F’ck up) and healthcare (which he will ignore,) lower food prices (which his tariffs will raise by the end of the year?)
I hope Zohran’s campaign waves spark a better working class party. As for the Democrats, will he transform like most progressives in the DNC, into an AOC, sheep-herding voters into voting for neo-liberals? Time will tell. He unfortunately can’t ever run for president being a foreigner, but love the ‘shake-up’ he is creating.
Spy in the loose sense. I would probably categorize him as an assassin first, with a side of spying.

crankyrebel@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Linux@programming.dev•Wayland Will Never Be Ready For Every X11 User13·6 hours agoCurrently, X11 is not really being developed, just maintained, which is the real issue. In this piece they are questioning whether Wayland was a good choice or not. I am using Wayland, have for some time, and I do acknowledge it is still a work in progress, validating the articles list of ‘issues’ yet to be addressed, but unless you are running a really old system, I am guessing the complications affect a very minimal group of users. There are also workarounds, for example on KDE, the gtk apps don’t adhere to those using the global menu. However, there is a fix to get around it.
In reference to using a completely different solution, isn’t it a little late in the game (16 years in development?) I think we are stuck with Wayland, no?

It helps also to transition or train viewers on alternative platforms.
Same, although I think I watched them all, cause, well, Bond, I liked his version the least. Bond himself, imo, was not campy, but the setting in which he existed at times, was, like a comic book setting.

Either it is a huge blockbuster hit, or it is not, most are not. Economy + Stay-at-home-streamers will continue to hurt the movie business. Maybe if they lowered prices, hired better writers, stop with the sequels and reboots?

crankyrebel@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Arch Linux@lemmy.ml•ArchLinux doesn't boot after computer lost power during system update1·3 days agoThe BTRFS users are relying on backup systems, so make sure you have extensive backups as power failures can happen at any moment, etc. For me personally, a files system that so easily corrupts files, especially when power failures occur frequently, is not what I want. I will stick with ext4, a log file system, which is more stable.

🔥 (Lie detector overheats and catches on fire.) 🔥
I hate these Grub/boot errors. They are a pain to fix, not that it is hard, but I always have to read-up on how to do it properly. I am guessing you probably did an update maybe that caused this? Do you have a backup system to restore? That is the easiest fix. If not, next time get one in place. Here is a helpful ‘how to fix’ the issue.
You’ve got this! 👍
