I went to Google myself.
I went to Google myself.
I didn’t realize at the time, but Juhani from KotOR is canonically a lesbian.
It’s like trying to find an SO at a comic convention. Just enjoy the show and be happy you’ve found like-minded nerds.
This is probably one of the best game series ever made. Probably the best Batman game series ever, too.
Each sequel adds new things without changing the core formula too much, each sequel is a bit bigger than the last game, and each sequel is just “more of what you love” about the Arkham games. Imo it’s everything a game and its sequels should be.
The newer AC games, to my memory, will actually have the characters run at your pace. Even if you sprint they’ll sprint along ahead of you with that ridiculous flailing arm run.
Reminds me of r/ARK when people were purposely playing on the lowest settings to make the ugliest dinos.
I hate how we can’t just have villains anymore. It’s either a future corrupted version of our current hero, or we spend about a third of the runtime making our villains relatable so people can be upset when the consequences finally catch up to them.
Imo we don’t need relatable villains, which is ironic because I used to think being evil for the sake of being evil was annoying, until it went away.
Yes. Remember when people were upset that V’s pronouns were tied to their genitals? And it wasn’t the usual right-wing shitheads complaining.
Tons of gamers actually do spend the time looking for a game that won’t “trigger” them in some way - which imo defeats the purpose of a lot of games that are made but whatever. People are able to do what they want with their time.
I know, but I was being impatient before. Ragnarok is already on PC and I kinda forgot about it. I’ll look into it once a sale hits, but even then it’ll be a debate with myself over the psn stuff.
Okay so I know this is a couple weeks old, but I can’t stop thinking about this and you got me cooking.
Get some of those giant jumbo dogs by Nathan’s, slice them in half and grill them up. Get some beef (I like around 70/30 myself), cook it up with some burger seasonings, maybe a hint of cheese or cheese sauce? Put the half dog in the bun first, flat side up so it creates a nice platform for the rest of the food and opens the bun. Then you put a nice portion of burger meat on top, then your toppings (lettuce, tomato, more cheese, etc.) and your sauces (ketchup, mayo, maybe some mustard).
Boom. Burger-Dog.
I’m not gonna lie, they almost had me looking for a used PS5 so I could play Spider-Man 2. Then I just watched a playthrough on YouTube.
It’s hard to get good open world Spider-Man games for some reason, and these last few have really scratched that itch imo.
I saw a comment on a thread here on Lemmy the other day that said we should be raising more cattle to help the environment and I was just dumbfounded.
Cow farts actually are a leading cause for climate change. Their shit literally is a greenhouse gas.
He gives the movie its mojo, baby!
How? They’ve been dragging out the end of the world ever since AC3 and killing off Desmond. How are they gonna reboot it? “Everything was a simulation the entire time and we just hit a hard reset button.”
I laughed a couple years ago at them on Reddit too.
Carth is great, but there’s something about my boy Atton that I can’t get enough of.
Morrigan is not the greatest video game companion, then.
It was funny to me seeing comments from people saying things like “I haven’t been a fan of COD for four years but this pulled me back in!”
I’m like, four years? That’s it? How long have fans of other franchises been sitting on their asses waiting for a sequel for their beloved games longer than four years? I can think of quite a few tbh. It just made me feel like the average attention span for a COD fan was extremely short (relatively speaking).
I was just too young at the time, and never paid attention to any of her dialog until I replayed it as a teenager.
ETA: I was mostly adding evidence to your claim that Bioware was always “woke,” going back to my first Bioware game memory of an LGBT character.
