The Heat sub usually is either doomers or delusionals.
If you want actual discussion you need to go to r/nbadiscussion. They have rules that are enforced.
Chris Paul in the Kyle Lowry role that the Heat were using him in would be a good fit I reckon.
I think the best thing I can say is it was competent and nothing really had me rolling my eyes like I would if I was watching Picard or Discovery.
This is probably the right amount. What he did was dumb but not half a season bad.
My only problem with Carol Kane is it makes me miss Hemmer :(
As a straight up move that would be bad for the Celtics
The episode did some things well and others not sure much. I’ll give a thumbs up to the Klingons and a thumbs down to the quippy Marvel like dialogue scenes (Looking at you Ortegas)
I don’t know how Discord became the end all be all for everything. Maybe it’s because it’s so easy to start a server? Either way as you said it’s terrible for searching and having asynchronous conversations.
I think Dame would be no. 1 on the wishlist but I don’t see Portland trading him unless they get a ridiculous offer. TBH I don’t know if Beal for Herro is that good of a swap considering Beal is about to be on the wrong side of 30 and cost $100M more.
Has he been linked there before? I know there’s been a lot of smoke with the Heat the past couple of seasons.
Maybe not as much as you think, take a look at these graphs:

They definitely skew towards the low end but it’s not that far from the rest of the series. Also I was mistaken Measure of a Man is a S2 episode. That being said outside of Code of Honor and Angel One most of the episodes are decent to good. There is the weird this seems like TOS and it doesn’t quite fit but it’s also fun to see the goofiness on a rewatch aspect.
If you’re the Pelicans you can’t trade him for anything less than a top 3 pick or equivalent player and if you’re a team trading for him you can’t give up a top 3 pick or equivalent player. If a trade goes down one side will be fleeced.
If the Pelicans want to trade him they need to do after he has a good full season.
I think both TNG and DS9 S1 were more uneven than outright sucking. You’ve got some great episodes like Measure of a Man and Duet in there.
I’m not a fan of Discovery or Picard and that “flavor” of new Trek. If you had criticisms or negative comments about anything it could get you banned on r/startrek if you didn’t go above and beyond to justify it.
Go take a look at https://startrek.website/post/225 and see how the admin reacts to comments they don’t agree with.
This is kinda driving me mad. I would also like to know if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s by design.
It has the most phallic prop I’ve ever seen.
