I have two alarms. The first one is sort of a soft-wake up. Sometimes I’ll wake then and fuss around on my phone for a while, sometimes I’ll just shut it off and go back to sleep, but either way I can’t ignore it or it will start reading news headlines.

Second alarm is a half hour later, that one means it’s time to wake up, and I have 15 minutes to get out of bed if I want to keep my routine on pace, or I need to immediately get in the shower if I didn’t shower the night before.

I technically also then have a third alarm that assumes I’m dressed and had breakfast and everything, and that just means it’s time to pack my shit and get out the door. It mostly just keeps me from stressing about watching the clock.

In keeping with my routine I pretty much always arrive to work in a five minute window, and most of that variation is just how much time I spent petting the cat before I finally went out the door.

Just waiting for them to push this for public schools only. After all, only “the poors” would send their kids to public schools.

It’s adorable that you think “stubborn homophobes” wouldn’t end a friendship over someone coming out. I genuinely wish they did just become curious and eventually accepting, instead of immediately rejecting and intimidating and expressing feelings of disgust and revulsion.

I take a couple tylenol PMs and 10mg of melatonin every night. With them, I fall asleep pretty easily. Without them, I just don’t sleep. I’m sure it’s fine.

Wait a minute! That fact isn’t very fun at all!

I’m not sure which is worse, that my first thought was “Only nine?” or that my second one was “Four counts as mass?”

They were already screening refugees, and someone got through anyway. Now they are stopping ALL evacuations until their investigation into one person is complete.

People are going to die because of this.

Now imagine that the government read your post and decided that alone was reason to stop all efforts to oppose a literal genocide.

Do you think you expressing your personal opinion really ought to carry that kind of weight? This wasn’t some important organization expressing an institutional position, it wasn’t some official government declaration, it was one jackass making a social media post, talking shit about people who are literally genociding her people, and because she didn’t go quietly into the night they’re going to try to send her back to her imminent death, and stop any efforts to save anyone else.

It’s not a question of internet posts getting an exemption versus other forms of media, it’s a question of whether or not one person mouthing off is reason to condemn countless others to literally die.

No. The first one was and still is a masterpiece, and it was made before Krafton ever got involved. If anything the contrast between Subnautica’s while success and 2’s abysmal failure would only emphasize how much Krafton sucks.

Same here. I was definitely going to buy as soon as it hit early access, I loved 1 and even liked Below Zero, I was as assured a sale as they get.

Not anymore. Blocked, blacklisted, and forgotten.

On a related note, did you guys know you can block a whole publisher on Steam from ever showing up in your feed? Click on the publisher’s name on any game they’re involved with to go to their page, and use the little cogwheel to the right of the Featured, Lists, Brows and so on buttons. You can ignore them, and poof, gone from your steam pages. If anyone deserves to be thrown into the pit like that, it’s definitely KRAFTON. Fuck’em.

It’s almost like their product consumes enormous amounts of energy to produce an output that isn’t actually worth much at all.
