I bought Victoper lights - piece of cake to attach and run, and the light is decent, but the battery is weak, they almost run out of charge in about 20 minutes. I only spent $13 though, so I guess you get what you pay for.

I think you’re correct that the government wants to declare martial law, but I also believe that some violent act will occur somewhere, and it will be used against the people.

The VA system has an absurd level of abuse and fraud. One can find a lot of former members that are “100% disabled” that are easily holding full time jobs without issues, and screwed up vets that couldn’t get a rating at all.

I have no clue how it could be fixed, and I want people to get the support they need, but the amount of abuse of the system is staggering.

I think part of it is the culture of some MOS to document every little thing, and combat MOS culture of never reporting anything medical

Who won the wars between the US and Afghanistan, Iraq, and Vietnam? Was it the people with the bomber airplanes? Is the US winning the war against the Houthis?

I assume you would mean that there would be like tiers of license for more normal pets, and then a stricter license for Pitbulls or Mastiffs or whatever. What sort of competence do you want people to demonstrate before getting a pet like a Cat or Golden Retriever?

I don’t think they would riot, they would probably just get pitbulls from breeders that didn’t check for licenses.

But I agree with the gist, there are a lot of bad dog parents, and people get pitbulls for bad reasons. I want there to be an avenue to punish owners & breeders who do not take proper precautions.

I have a pitbull (American pitbull terrier) that is a rescue. He loves people, but is so aggressive towards other animals that I can hardly believe it.

After having one for years now, I believe there should be some sort of training or licensing requirement before someone can own one. The combination of innate aggression and power is truly dangerous

I can never walk my dog off-leash, I can never hand my dog to someone inexperienced. I love my dog, but responsible ownership is much more burdensome than any other dog I’ve had.

I think the only reason OpenAI would delete their logs is to destroy evidence. I don’t trust for a second they care about anyone’s privacy.

I directly work with one of these people - they admit to spending all of their free time talking to the LLM chatbots.

On our work forums, I see it’s not uncommon at all. If it makes you feel any better, AI loving is highly correlated with people you shouldn’t ever listen to in the first place.
