Can we not normalize subsidizing teachers salaries. They should be fighting for higher pay or for schools to provide these things for them. Edit: sorry didn’t read the title, apparently we’re in agreement.

God it is validating to see you say that. I’m new to the platform, reddit refugee, and am bombarded by what appears to be hard core communists. It’s exhausting.

I think it has something to do with the nature of creative work. If we didn’t have some system in place to compensate creatives over time then people in creative jobs couldn’t afford to live between employment opportunities.

I’m working overtime manually blocking all of these Communist subs. It’s really gross.
