Sure, at some point we all have to realize that our actions may attract unwanted attention and take appropriate precautions. That being said, no means no. If a lady is obviously uncomfortable by your presence, put on the big boy pants and move on - don’t try to argue your case or convince her of anything. Just move on and leave her the hell alone.

I’ve been to a few ‘clothing optional’ events in my time - and this is how I have successfully navigated those events:

• Don’t talk to a naked woman unless SHE initiates the conversation.
• Don’t make ANY comments about a naked woman’s appearance unless SHE comments about yours FIRST.
• Keep your eyes on a naked woman’s FACE.

Is this stupid and unfair? Yes. Have I ever been asked to leave one of these events, or gotten into any trouble? No. If you can’t handle it, don’t go to these types of events.

If your religious ‘freedoms’ involve protecting child abusers, you should be the one confessing.

Stories are medicine.

It’s one healthy way for our brains to process situations, dreams, aspirations, fears and experience. And it works.

God, PLEASE…go with actually faster combat. It’s hard enough to get everyone to commit to showing up to the game for a few hours on any kind of a regular basis. Don’t waste what little time they DO have to tell stories together with pointless minutia. Just one guy’s (very fervent) opinion. ;)

I quite like Monte Cook’s Cypher System for just about any setting. Fast, elegant rules with just the right amount of crunch to keep things interesting. It’s really easy to grasp and can be easily tailored to fit any setting. I also love how it uses a descriptive sentence instead of cookie-cutter character classes.

I don’t think you’ll have any trouble with Mint. I’ve set up senior citizens with Mint desktops and have yet to have any major issues. Contrary to what many people think, a solid Linux distro like Mint really isn’t all that hard for a newbie to wrap their head around.

I’ve been using Linux Mint for the last…eight years? I think? Anyway, it’s been great for gaming and if you want a minimum of fussing about, I would just install Steam and use Proton for compatibility. It’s by far the easiest and most tinker-free gaming experience for Linux - at least in my experience. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve had to really research and tinker with any annoying issues. protondb.com has been extremely helpful in checking the compatibility of a certain game for Linux and even offers tips and tricks to make the fussier games work.

Very little, if anything, would remain of our civilization in five or six million years. At least I wouldn’t think so, aside from what we have floating in outer space. Six million years is an awfully long time, and it’s not like our consumer-based society builds things to last…

I’ve been toying around with the idea of a vampire-themed setting using the Cypher System (MY go-to!). I’ve got tons of ideas…it’ll be a fun writing exercise, if nothing else! :)

I’ve visited there exactly once, and you’re right - it was crazy. I never went back and never plan to go back unless this backward state comes to it’s senses.
