Yes, and I seriously doubt this is for moderate to severe loss. Most aids for that category get custom molds of the ear canal. Very likely this is about getting approval for the hearing test and subsequent audio curves.

As a hearing aid wearer myself, I would question the validity of this as a viable alternative to real hearing aids for moderate to severe loss.
Of course many people with hearing loss will use these instead of getting professionally tested and fitted.
This is what I do… find a comfortable position, then start relaxing all of your muscles.
Start with your toes … given them a wiggle and relax them. Slowly move up your body into your torso… then down your arms, and finally your neck and head.
I’m usually out before I get to my arms.
Second this
Non-cloud cams with an nvr all the way. I won’t touch the cloud based services. My go to is currently Reolink.
This is neat… I just tried “faceting lemmy” and my community came up on top.
This is me almost every morning around 5am… 😭
Yep, Reolink app pulls from your nvr… I think the only use of the cloud is authentication purposes. So make sure you have a good network connection. 😉
I have my entire house perimeter covered with them. Have I integrated them with HA? No. I don’t feel like I need to. The mobile app and notifications works well for me as does the desktop app.
The only time they acted weird was due to a spider web going across the lens. At night with wind it would trigger random motion alarms. My own damn fault for not cleaning them more often.
Edit: One last point, having the recordings local instead of the cloud is a big plus for me and their NVR works well.
I found it entertaining but a bit shallow in terms of dialog. It felt aimed at the younger crowd. Don’t get me wrong it was most definitely a fun read.
Thanks for the suggestion! I had no idea that community existed. I just cross posted.
Hahahahaha … I got a few drops… drenches? Not likely. Send us more!!!
Me!
Under hobbies, I run a community on gemstone faceting that I’m trying to get some traction on, can you add this to your list?
This reminds me of my dad and grandfather having good natured arguments about who was going to pay. It would last a good 5-10 minutes, with one of them ‘winning’. It was all in good fun, and the wait staff usually had a blast watching.
In reality, they alternated who would pay, and did this mostly for fun.
Omg, I’m in heaven!
Just checked lostsouls by hitting port 23, 22 players online… a bit sad… I remember when there were at least 100-200 online at once.
LP was the initials of the developer. What was cool about LP muds was the ability to code new areas/weapons/etc directly in the game. You, as a wizard, could create a new area and load the objects and interact with them immediately.

1Password for years, never had any issues.
I totally agree with everything you said here. I just cannot imagine wearing ear buds for 15-18 hours straight every day as a solution for my hearing loss. I almost don’t even notice my aids in my ears anymore.
PSA: Take care of your ears everyone, hearing loss sucks big time.
