No, even turbo-optimist Gene Roddenberry couldn’t imagine a future where the world’s trajectory in 1966 led to humanity adopting a collectivist perspective. There was a horrible war fought against genetically enhanced superhumans and then a full scale nuclear exchange between the east and west that resulted in 1/3 of the planet being wiped out before humans abandoned capitalism.
1·3 years agoSo I do appreciate you all taking effort to think something in your native language, translate it in your head, then type it up in English.
This isn’t really how speaking multiple languages works. The human brain is remarkably bad at parallel processing complex tasks. If you want to be proficient in another language you really have to learn to think in that language. It’s definitely a skill that can be learned and there’s an added bonus of becoming a better listener.
There’s definitely an intersection of socialization and biology, but I’m also not seeing any non-male identified persons doing an adverturism.
Testosterone will really warp a mfers brain.

I got sort of dumped on Valentines Day two years ago. I had some famcy plans with someone I had been dating for about four months who stood me up and ghosted me. I didn’t hear from her for a month and she barely offered an apology. Two months later I met someone else for what was supposed to be casual thing but that grew to be a relationship with the most wonderful person I’ve ever known. We’re living together and hopefully spending the rest of our lives together.
