The most important part: what went into the calculation? There are plenty of things besides food that impact environmental sustainability, is diet alone sufficient to achieve it? Or did they just throw the rest out?

It’s the continuation of all the negative news about Musk and Tesla and MAGA. While it is uplifting to some that they have setbacks, I believe this doesn’t help people distract from this shitshow, which I reckon the community is all about.
Besides, people made miserable is not in the spirit of the place, either.
I felt a bit sympathetic to Buddhism up to the point when I actually visited a Buddhist temple and listened to the speeches of monks.
The amount of brain rot disguised as wisdom has made me feel Christianity ain’t that bad after all.
Sorry in advance to any Buddhist out there, but it struck me how the common perception of it differs from the actual thing.
From community description:
This is a sanctuary for those seeking a break from the incessant negativity often found in today’s news cycle. From acts of everyday kindness to large-scale philanthropic efforts, from individual achievements to community triumphs, we bring you news that gives hope, fosters empathy, and strengthens the belief in humanity’s capacity for good.
Are you sure this one fits in? Why, of all the communities, choose this one specifically?
The goal of the Privacy Sandbox initiative is to develop new ways to strengthen online privacy while ensuring a sustainable, ad-supported internet.
Like, that’s all you need to know about what it ever was.
Also, the article is essentially a bunch of barely meaningful corporate blubber in an attempt to disguise the main message.
A typical 4chan user is very concerned about privacy, because it’s a place they do stuff they wouldn’t do elsewhere.
Once a trust is broken, it is very hard to regain. Technically, nothing stops it from appearing again. But will the userbase follow?
I love this deconstruction, it captures quite a few of my own thoughts. Thank you!
I can’t help but feel that the amount of people following the likes of Tate did not change much, they just got an opportunity to get more vocal, being less afraid of a pushback.
They are a now vocal minority, similar to how there was a rise in Neo-Nazi speech, for example.
So do I!
True! Visuals ger way better in OpenMW mods, but it costs a lot of computer resources and animations remain as terrible as they always were
One point thirty two
Mechanics too, for sure.
As per graphics…my active gaming years started around 2012-2014, and the first TES game I’ve played was Skyrim, which soon later gained the Special Edition with updated graphics.
So, the bar for me is quite high, and poorer graphics breaks immersion. Oblivion, to me, is bad, Morrowind is untenable.
The only old game I actually played a lot was 2003’s Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, and what saved it is decent lighting, no extra blur, enclosed areas and action-packed gameplay that left less attention to how poor it looks.
Yes, it’s about to be released as well! Skywind is not extremely far behind, too!
Not a myth, but a distraction. Personal responsibility is good for the environment, but stopping companies from employing environmentally unsafe practices comes first.
Sure, taste differs, especially if you were there when it was released.
But I’m happy that a younger audience will get what it takes to dive in!
Also still keeping my eyes on Skyblivion and especially on Skywind
Haha, fair, didn’t recognize the irony
Still insane to me that one woman literally saves the world of science from all this corruption
Only one way to find out! :D
Still, if you think about it, it’s weird no manned flight of several people had been conducted without men, but plenty without women.
Female cosmonauts/astronauts were always paired with men.
Fair point!
