Bring it on. A “dark age” for the collective West means a bright shining future for the rest of the world free from the boot of Westoid colonial plundering and imperialist oppression.

Totalitarian indoctrination is making young people hate the west

Yeah, all those riot cops beating and arresting people for expressing their free speech to denounce genocide are really planting those anti-west ideas deep. Wait, what do you mean that’s not what you meant?

Seriously, this guy’s thinking is so backward it’s like he’s trying to kill a robot or something

There is now a striking correlation between levels of education and holding stupid, destructive ideas, between being highly credentialled and falling for every fashionable conspiracy theory, every tribalistic affliction, every online fad.

Is this the new “illiterates were the biggest anti-communists”? 😂

Seriously, the dumb = smart and smart = dumb paradigm is a cornerstone of modern western liberalism. You can find it in Nietzsche and Heidegger aka the average westoid’s fav thinking nazi boys

The dark age comparison is actually accurate because the dark age was only a bad time for the former Western Roman empire, China and other parts of the world were doing just fine.

Not even for the former western roman empire. The british isles had it rough, everywhere else populations moved out of the cities and that was about it. Magyars and norse raiders became less of a problem the more feudalism set in. Iberia was just vibin’, france was a slugfest that saw the frankish quickly coming out ontop, italy was happily vibing under the goths. Hell, even the romans were doing alright over in the east.

Sure some events stirred the pot a bit, like the roman attempt of reconquering the western empire, the last persian wars and the islamic conquests, but they were over relatively quickly. Unless one looks at the Terf isles it was not some horrible time.

The Black Death or the 30 years war, those were shit times to be had in europe.

They were in deep ass even before, Geza Alfoldy “The Social History of Rome” goes in details about this, by the V century the middle classes, equites and decurioni were basically impoverished and mostly disappeared, and the upper class were already feudal.

That moron knows that the “dark ages” were not particulary dark in europe, does he? And pretty good everywhere else. Golden Age of Islam and most stable time China ever had until then.

the “dark ages” were not particulary dark in europe

If only there were two German guys in late XIX century who demonstrated how European society developed from slavery to feudalism, and more importantly - which objective processes had caused it

This article is incredible, he managed to hit every Westoid gotcha in the book. Uyghurs, Rohingya, antisemitism, CRT, blah blah.

We could host leftist bingo sessions crossing off each gotcha.

This article is a shotgun of bad faith arguments and easily debunked propaganda. Feels like it was written by a bot that was just fed on western news. No original thoughts in the article, it’s just a summary of every propaganda point I’ve heard in the last few years.

Honestly, it could be a good starting point for a list of common propaganda talking points and their counter arguments. I don’t think I’ve seen such high density before.

The whole article relies on the reader already accepting every point it makes as fundamentally true, kind of like a political speech in the west. Responding to this sort of piece requires significantly more effort than it took to make the article.
