    I swear I’ve seen this exact pose in an illustration, before. I tried searching “coup de gras sword fight duel” and also “fencing fencer manual historic illustration” but couldn’t find it, sadly.

      I know exactly what image you’re thinking of and can picture it perfectly but couldn’t describe a single fuckin detail

      I wanna say it comes from the treatises or something like that

      It’s “coup de grâce” not “coup de gras”, that would mean “fat stab”

      If the weapon was like these (the fine stabbing sword) add “rapier duel painting” or “… drawing”
