He gave me his full name and a badge ID # as well as a case #, but the numbers could be made up.

He claims someone used my name to send drugs in this package from Mexico to Texas, if I’m claiming the package isn’t mine.

He then asked me to answer questions over the phone, which they would record to be used in court… I told them I would need to speak to a lawyer and am not comfortable answering questions. Then hung up.

I’m very concerned because I Googled the phone number, and it seems to actually be affiliated with the DOJ. When I looked the number up, the official DOJ site immediately popped up at the top.

Should I be worried or does this seem like a scam?

Btw I have bipolar disorder and have had to be hospitalized because my delusions about the police, FBI investigations on me, etc. got SO bad… I’m so worried… really need reassurance. Should I try to get a lawyer? I really cannot afford a lawyer.
