Cutting off aid would force Israel to go “well we better hurry up and finish this war before we run out of ammo”, sending them into overdrive to cripple Hamas’ capabilities since they won’t have the Iron Dome to rely on anymore.

And of course there’s still the issue of a ceasefire not being agreed to because Hamas can’t provide Israel what it’s asking for. So how’s cutting off aid supposed to help?

At this point I don’t think Israel’s gonna stop even if they do somehow manage to eradicate Hamas from the world. Any opportunity for peaceful ends to this conflict are long gone.

However, a Palestinian official close to mediation efforts told Reuters that deadlock continued over Israel’s refusal to end the war, withdraw forces from Gaza, allow all civilians to return to their homes and lift a 17-year-old blockade to allow speedy reconstruction of the coastal enclave.

These steps took precedence over Israel’s prime demand for a release of hostages in exchange for Palestinians held in Israeli prisons, said the official, speaking on condition of anonymity. “Regarding the exchange of prisoners, Hamas was and is willing to be more flexible, but there is no flexibility over our…main demands,” he said.

Israel has ruled out ending the war shortly or withdrawing from Gaza, saying its forces will not relent until Hamas no longer controls Gaza or threatens Israel militarily.

Oh no, Israel killed them all! How do we stop the war crimes from happening now?

Tell Israel to stop, unconditionally, that’s how.

Then stop sending weapons. Then economic sanctions. Then direct intervention.

          Then direct intervention

Oh boy, US troops on the ground in the middle east. That’ll go well and will definitely calm things down.

How do you think the Holocaust ended? Negotiated peace between the Jewish prisoners and the camp guards?

We want Biden to stop sending weapons and to back away from Israel altogether.

In addition to commiting genocide, Israel is starting fights and expecting the U.S. to pay for them. Israel is not our friend. They are a drunk asshole who hurts innocent people and starts trouble. And then they demand we help them win the fights they start.

We need to end this valueless, one-sided relationship. We get absolutely nothing of value from Israel. Nothing.

For starters: Stop funding the Israeli military. End diplomatic support for Israel. Demand the immediate return of Palestinian hostages held in Israeli prisons. Accept that the occupation of Palestine is illegal and demand that it ends immediately. Accept that Israel is an apartheid state. Support the right of Palestinians to reclaim stolen land and assets. Immediately recognise a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
