Some good news coming out of camp Linux Mint, as the upcoming release of Linux Mint 22 is set to be quite a good one for bringing it up to standard like other distributions on newer tech.
You can install newer nvidia drivers in mint with their driver installer. Yeah, they may be be a version behind or smth, but still.
Also consider EndeavourOS instead of Manjaro, as they have a better track record in the community. Both are Arch based distros, but Manjaro holds back the packages for some time which can cause issues with the AUR. They have also accidentally DDOS’d the AUR not once but twice so far.
Ok I’ll look into EndeavourOS I only think Manjaro because I have been using it on my laptop from school for a while now. As for mint drivers my driver manager looks like this I want to try the 550 drivers (I am thinking the drivers are why some new games don’t run aswell as they should.) and those are what are on my laptop.
