The latest incident came hours after eight people were killed in an airstrike on an aid distribution centre at al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, health officials said.

Well, let’s define terms. Far as I know, Zionest means to believe e there should be a Jewish State, or Zion. I’m not a religious person, but I do believe people have always gathered in groups to become nations. I don’t see any difference for Jews. They have the right to exist just like everybody else. Hope that answers your question, and I hope your mama didn’t teach you to call others scum.

So this whole genocide business is ok with you, because Jews have a right to exist? Also, I didn’t call you scum - look again.

In the grander scale of global politics, a fact is that Russia is waging an actual war against Ukraine and a covert war against Europe and the West. Another fact is that Palestine has chosen to side with Russia, so in the current situation I see no reason to side with Palestine. I think all resources to help Palestine should be diverted to help Ukraine. When Russia has been contained, we can start thinking about things like Gaza. But until that happens, every diversion just critically weakens us.

It’s like a hierarchy of needs, you know? If my neighbor is threatening to punch me in the face, I don’t have the luxury of being worried about a potentially worse thing happening on the other side of the city.

This doesn’t excuse genocide, if such a thing would be happening, but it sure does give a reason to support Israel over Palestine.

Another fact is that Palestine has chosen to side with Russia

Not a fact at all. Gonna need your source on that.

so in the current situation I see no reason to side with Palestine

You DO know that at least two thirds of the Palestinians killed are civilians, right? And that’s the official estimate that the IDF proudly declared, so in reality the ratio is likely much worse.

I think all resources to help Palestine should be diverted to help Ukraine

Fuck that. Ukraine should get a shitload of help and they ARE getting a shitload of help. None of it should be taken from victims of genocide, rampant disease and starvation, though.

Not even most civilian RUSSIANS are to blame for Putin’s invasion and you’re blaming innocent Palestinians??

When Russia has been contained, we can start thinking about things like Gaza.

Ever heard about walking and chewing gum at the same time?

The richest countries in the world ABSOLUTELY have the resources and expertise to help Ukraine and Palestinians at the same time.

To pretend that it’s an either/or situation and that children dying of hunger or from IDF bombings and bullets RIGHT NOW will have to wait their turn because they’re less important and the government that they didn’t choose is a bad one is as asinine as it is heartless.

But until that happens, every diversion just critically weakens us.

              Absolute nonsense.

It’s like a hierarchy of needs, you know?

That’s absolutely not how international humanitarian aid works, no.

If my neighbor is threatening to punch me in the face, I don’t have the luxury of being worried about a potentially worse thing happening on the other side of the city.

Ah, now I get it! You just think that white European people with blonde hair and blue eyes are more important than Palestinians. Sounds familiar…

              This doesn’t excuse genocide

              Nothing does.

if such a thing would be happening

It is. Nobody who isn’t biased in favor of the Israeli government doubt it for a second.

but it sure does give a reason to support Israel over Palestine.

It ABSOLUTELY does not. Israel is an occupation force committing genocide. There’s absolutely no defensible reason for supporting that.

The Israeli government is not defending itself. It’s eradicating a people, which is never justifiable, no matter what.

My experience says calling people names not only achives nothing, but says more about the caller than the called. It is also the sign of a dry intellect.

Yeah it’s hard to watch what’s going on (and has been for ages) and be powerless to do anything about it. Saying nothing achieves nothing as well. I’d much rather see genocidal maniacks and the like in court proceedings my self, but expressing disgust is better than keeping things bottled up inside. Fuck!
