Looks like Xbox might get it after all? Saber usually does multi platform. Unless there is something I don’t know about Sony going on in the background?

Does Sony even have enough money after blowing it all on Bungie? They overpaid, like $40m or something for Bungie, I can’t image that they will be able to outbid Microsoft for it, even with Microsoft buying up ActiBlizz. However, Microsoft may choose to lay low and not buy up more studios for a while.

I just remembered when it was first announcement it was all saying that it was going to be a PS exclusive. So I’m hoping that’s out the window. Exclusives suck.

I think because Sony paid for some of its dev funding? But also I heard it was cancelled or severely back-burnered.

Sony was on some petty stuff with Jim Ryan trying to buy up everything away from Xbox, I wondered what they were so worried about. Then of course his famous quote got leaked about “I don’t care about winning, I just want Xbox to lose,” or something to that effect and it all kinda made sense.

Wow. Did not know he said something like that. What a twat.

Yeah it was during one of the legal proceeds in Brussels that happened before ActiBlizz was approved. The remark was made where there was no agreement of confidentiality.

            The exact quote was:

I don’t want a new Call of Duty deal. I just want to block your merger

            ~ Jim Ryan

What a prick. Obviously doesn’t care for gaming or gamers at all and just wants to “win” the “console wars”. I’m glad he retired. Hopefully whoever stepped in can be more open to working together.
