I did not like Astarion. Your first three interactions with him are framed as him trying to ambush you, and in one case is heavily coded as sexual assault. He’s not a lovable rogue, he’s a rapist murderer and his potential rape and murder victims can include your player character. Actions for which he feels NO remorse.
