The Saudi royals aren’t universally particularly religious. Mostly educated at American universities, IRC this one went to the US. Love to party and drink.
They pretend they’re religious, because it affords them political legitimacy, and because the clergy are so influential. But in reality they often try to curtail the power of the clergy.
I knew Saudis in college in the US. They smoked, drank and partied as much as anyone else. They were also known to drive expensive cars that they would eventually abandon when returning home.
Did you adopt any of them abandoned cars afterwards?
Where can I find some of those poor abandoned expensive cars?
Nothing has changed since 2002.
Because none of the items are required to be worn by Saudi women?
It does appear they have to wear an abaya, but I’m not sure that applies outside of Saudi Arabia.
