There’s also an extended Gameplay Reveal on WoD’s Youtube Channel. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, but the trailer hasn’t blown my mind. That dialog interaction looked so flat. Still, VtMB 1 had its own share of jank.
I’ll still reserve judgement until I can get my hands on it.
I was really looking forward to a Bloodlines 2, but with all the changes I’ve lost all hype for the game. The trailer doesn’t seem to give much confidence either.
Same. I’ll probably end up getting it down the line at a steep discount (or just pirating it) unless it has glowing reviews from regular people after release.
What are the changes, if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve had the first game on my wishlist for a long time now, planning to buy that once my current backlog goes down a bit.
Looks very janky. There are a lot of moments where the AI just looks completely broken like in 1:12 where he instantly goes from being on the floor to an attack animation. I guess it’s not surprising considering it’s in development hell.
Look at how they massacred my boy
I feel like I’ve already experienced all the game-play has to offer just watching that trailer
I never played the first one, would anyone recommend trying it out?
A definite maybe. Game play is dated and combat is terrible. Pretty standard for RPGs of it’s time, but hard to get past for alot of folks.
But if you like classic CRPG story telling, it’s hands down one of the GOATs. Make sure to grab the unofficial patch (which the GOG version just comes with).
Yes, and play Malkavian.
Yes do play Malkavian, but maybe not as a first character if you do not know the universe and what a Malkvian is, because it might fry your brain.
Is the player stuck as this Phyre and can pick a clan or Phyre will be whatever the player chooses?
