Then, when it comes time to open the box, you find that it’s a pair of old gym socks with more holes than sock. You then find out that he spent the entire writing budget on more lens flares.

minus-squareLopen's Left Arm@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up3·10 months agoYes! So great as both a good guy and a bad guy too!

minus-squareFlying Squid@lemmy.worldOPMlinkfedilinkarrow-up4arrow-down2·10 months agoI was honestly okay with it right up to the last episode. Then suddenly it was “the island is fixable with a cork” and “everyone’s in heaven” and “no, we’re never answering any of those other mysteries,” the end.
minus-squareFlying Squid@lemmy.worldOPMlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·10 months agoThat is way too many fan theories to explain away a bad ending.
minus-squarecmbabul@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·10 months agoI really liked Super 8 when I saw it in theaters but I haven’t watched it since then
minus-squareFlying Squid@lemmy.worldOPMlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·10 months agoIt was okay. I wouldn’t call it exceptional. Out of the many sci-fi films that came out in 2011, it was one of them.
