“Just reaffirmed the need for economical populism to win electoral victories”

So basically a tucker Carlson-esque grift to lure the rubes in. So much for moving Magas to the left.

Nah I’ve definitely seen them 100% move dudebro’s economically, at least, left. There is just a demographic of people that want to be shitty edgelords. It’s an audience of people we can’t reach.

Also why are they angry at menslib again? It’s usually pretty wholesome, inoffensive and non confrontational. It’s also literally what some of these people pretended to be complaining about, “but why aren’t feminists talking about men’s issues?”. Well there you fucking go, they are.

If you base your whole identity around conforming to society’s idea of masculinity, it’s quite destabilizing to see any critique of that. So the very idea is “deranged” and what we really need is more “paternalism”

Most likely they’re referring to /r/MensLib, which is the subreddit for the Mens’ Liberation movement. Essentially it’s “Mens’ Rights but not just fashy whataboutism”.

There are some legitimate complaints about how discourse on /r/MensLib can tend towards self-flagellative virtue signaling despite aiming to be a male-positive space. It is, on the whole, however, Cool and Good. Most people who complain about it are just incapable of understanding that the basis of male oppression is in the same toxic-masculine and patriarchal social norms that harm women.

lol imagine browsing through a subreddit you hate, reading through a bunch of posts and comments and cherry-picking one of the dumbest ones to wrap up into a weird narrative.

“Why do you keep hitting yourself?!”

Feel free to link the thread next time, where most of the answers breed optimism.
