It’s 4chan shit. I was there when that trend started and I watched it spread to other sites. It’s also meant to get people to react. That’s what those commenters are looking for. Doesn’t matter where its being posted.
Yes, I understand what you are saying. I am explaining that that’s not what I was talking about. I wasn’t reacting to anything and I was not explaining anybody reacting to anything with an image.

I wasn’t using this meme as an insult to the OP. I was using it as a descriptor of the type of fucking idiots I hate seeing on Lemmy. Which is what this post is about.
