A government study says nearly half of the tap water in the US contains potentially harmful compounds known as “forever chemicals.”
I’ll just use the faucet in the bathroom instead of the faucet in the kitchen then
Good thinking. What are the odds it would be in both of them? Less than 25% I reckon.
Preventing the chemicals from being introduced into the water supply would be a good first start–
But the government hasn’t prohibited companies using the chemicals from dumping them into public wastewater systems
hasn’t or can’t given the one supreme court ruling?
Oh Christ, what ruling is this?
excerpt:
“The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on Thursday to block the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating greenhouse gas emissions is likely to put a big chill on rulemaking by other federal agencies.”

Ever feel like you’re just a subject in a giant plastic and forever chemical experiment? Yikes.
“We’re the generation that drank from the water hose!” Hits different now.
That’s a lower number than I expected
Can’t wait for the GOP to defend this insanity on behalf of corporations.
The movie Dark Waters does an excellent job covering this topic.
