On lemmy.world it’s known as “Lemmy Connect Dammit”. That’s what I’ve heard.
We really need to drop the “for X” thing, we’re not on reddit anymore. Thats why I renamed mine from “slide for reddit” to just Slide
Calling something “App for Whatever” isn’t a Reddit exclusive. It accurately describes what the program is and what it’s for. This is fairly common. Just sayin.
It shouldnt be the name of the program though, that’s advertising stuff.
