West Virginia released a slew of new anti-trans bills on January 10th, including a bill that bans gender affirming care up to the age of 21 and mandates therapists "cure" trans people.
The bill is broken into sections to target different aspects of transgender care. One section defines being transgender as “sexual deviation”
the only deviation I see here is in the form of 3 state senators. any why have we not evolved past the point of this bullshit resonating with some portion of the general public?! decade after decade, over and over, its the same shit packaged in a new wrapper.
Statistically, the sexual variance of cis people is greater than that of trans people because some trans people are closer the centre of the spectrum while transitioning which makes their distribution less bimodal. Therefore, the sexual deviation, which is the square root of the variance, is greater in cis people than in trans people, and the more trans people there are, the less sexually deviant society becomes
