I can’t fine any good placebos anywhere. I go to the drug store and say “throw me a life saver”, they give me butterscotch.

minus-squareJorgelino@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkarrow-up3·1 year agoNot to defend homeopathy, but a big part of why placebo works is how we percieve the medicine/treatment. Tic tacs wouln’t work as well as fake medicine (aka homeopathy) because they don’t look as “official”.
