Specifically, what it looks like when you start a war with a country more powerful than you.

This is where you lose me. What percentage of Gaza’s population “started” the war?

Yeah, that’s how war works. The leadership (in this case one chosen by the people) chooses on behalf of their people.

The last election in Gaza was in 2006. About half of the population wasn’t even alive. Did they really choose this?

        Yeah, that’s how war works.

So collective punishment of the civilian population is part of all war, in your view? Including cutting off food and water?

Yes. In war, it’s super common for civilian populations to lose their homes, lose access to food and water supplies, etc

This isn’t quite the same though is it? Food, water and essential supplies were purposefully cut off.

You didn’t answer this part: given the fact that the last election was 2006 and about half of the population wasn’t even alive, did they really choose this?

That’s called a blockade. It’s been happening forever.

                No not that, this

Do you honestly think this group of Palestinians wouldn’t reelect them if a vote was held today?

We don’t know, do we? Because there has been no election. On October 6th a poll of Gazans did not support your conclusion: here Afterwards it gets a bit complicated because there is a “rally round the flag” effect that tends to increase support for current governments in war.

The point is that they do not currently have a democratic mandate.

For some reason you people ignore every other actual atrocity going on in the world to hate the Jews even harder. 2 million Uyghurs dead at China’s hand? No outrage.

Absolutely there is outrage! I don’t know what media you’re reading but maybe have a look around!

                And “You people”? Lol.
