      Well of course. Because they’re the good guys with the guns. It’s not the guns that they view as the problem; it’s the people using them.

      It was only when members of the Black Panthers had assault weapons that Reagan enacted an assault weapons ban. Nevermind all the continuing overt racism that persisted even after black codes were abolished.

      It’s clear they interpret 2A to mean, “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed…except those people.”
