Can’t really speak for furry communities but this has not been my experience with trans communities, and I spend a lot of time in them. Trans porn “communities” are far more common than actual trans communities though, because there are more cis people who want to jack it to trans people than there are trans people.
They are so obsessed with what they see in pornography representing the life styles they don’t agree with.
Because that’s the only media they consume besides propaganda.
