I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU EAT RAW MEAT! Cook your meat. Especially meat you buy from other people, you just don’t know the chain of custody.

This video is interesting, the meat adventure starts at 29:00

I think you can consider my main food raw — pemmican. It’s only heated to about 40°C during drying

I have also had steak tartare, and when I have steak I have it very lightly cooked, certainly raw inside aside from a few millimetres each side

Also when I’m cutting up meat for drying I eat pieces too small as I go, and they’re raw

Full Disclosure I do eat raw meat on occasion:

    • Steak Tartar
    • Shrimp
    • Salmon
    • Other types of sashimi
    • Eggs

But I strongly don’t recommend eating raw foods (including salads) unless you have a high degree of confidence in the food delivery system, health controls, source quality, storage time, etc… AND ESPECIALLY don’t do it while traveling.

I will only eat raw fish and eggs in Japan. Nowhere else, I just don’t trust it enough to do so. Never ever eat raw chicken…

Japan is famous for being the only place with chicken sashimi that is “safe”! haha I kinda want to try it once.

I’ve tried it! I’m still here! But I don’t think it is worth it except for the ‘hold on is this raw?’ value.
