      I had a friend of mine say something to this effect back when we were in high school, but I think they’ve walked back on that since then.

      My dad used to, ironic since he played in the pixel golden age. That said, I think Sea of Stars changed his mind.

      Yeah I’ve seen people (online) saying something like that. I guess those are teenagers who wanted to feel being adults by avoiding cartoons.

    With current technologies, none of the games actually look realistic.

    Some games use a relatively realistic style. But we can instantly tell apart the game footage vs a real video.

    We thought PS2 graphics looked realistic. In a decade when people look back at games in 2025, that would be what they feel.
