Carhenge is a replica of England’s Stonehenge located near the city of Alliance, Nebraska, in the High Plains region of the United States. Instead of being built with large standing stones, as is the case with the original Stonehenge, Carhenge is formed from vintage American automobiles, all covered with gray spray paint.
There’s also a carhenge at Glastonbury festival
I went on a road trip with my cousin, a few years ago, and we happened to be going down a random road in Nebraska after passing through the reservation in South Dakota on our way to Four Corners, and I see carhenge arising from the horizon.
I pulled over and woke him up and we went and explored and there were like painted dinosaurs and all kinds of other stuff and they didn’t want money from us to just go and look around and it was one of the multiple highlights of that trip.
