Yep. A whole lot of people are just checked the fuck out and think “oh, that’s politics”, not realizing that politics will take an interest in them, whether they like it or not.

And then there are the sanctimonious jackasses that think they would “rise above it all” or whatever by throwing away their vote on a third party or that they’d stay home, all because they were too pure to vote for an imperfect candidate from the Democratic Party.

I’m sure all that purity will be some comfort…
