there is still a layer of his MAGA supporters that don’t want the US in another war

Maybe I’m cynical, but they’ll come around, they always do. Especially if it means killing muslims, they love doing that.

this one feels different. i’m an old, was around for 2003.

this time it’s going to really hurt. directly into everyone’s wallets. once those mines are laid we’re talking $200+ a barrel oil.

there will be that solid 20% that turns into squealing piggies for murdering muslims and try to tell everyone to accept poverty and sacrifice for the greater good

but the bulk of the U.S. population wasn’t around for/or were too young for the revolution and the embassy stuff. admittedly they could loop the “death to america” chants enough to rile some up, especially since the average person hears “death to the american people (genocide)” when they hear that (I know I did as a child), instead of it calling for the end of the empire

but i also think there’s already a strong anti-war movement primed and ready to go, especially as this will be a chaotic “trump war” and entirely instigated by a weird, hostile foreign “ally” that most people are becoming increasingly suspicious of. obviously this applies mostly to libs/dems etc but it could peel off some MAGA
